Back from the dead

The final day of Mardis Gras this is the last time for our family and Anita was exited to go two seperate parades in two different cities. When all was said and done we had enough beads and stuffed critters to fill the back of the van. Joshie estimated the weight of the beads far succeeded his own body weight doubled. Anita is talking about carrying on the Mardis Gras experience to the west coast. AWWW were gonna miss Loseranna.

It was a date night for Joshie and Anita at the Crew of Galatea Ball. Joshie sported some fancy duds a tux with tails. Audrey, "You look handsome daddy." Patricia, "daddy you look like a magician." Thats good cause Joshie showed of his magical dancing skills haha. Anita to had some fancy duds on and was looking pretty hot to say the least. The two had fun dancing until three in the morning. Joshie payed for it the next day at work fighting the drowsiness at work the following day. However, it was worth it.

Patricia had her 100th day of school. The shirt she is wearing has 100 insects, reptiles, amphibians, and spiders to represent the 100th day. Needless to say that morning she walked around the house stiff armed afraid they were going to fall off. Once at school she was a hit among her class mates all of which could not keep there hands off her shirt. Also note the bugs on her head. That is all.

This post is belated it is shot in Granmercy, LA on Christmas Eve 2008. The structures pictured are made of timber and most are erected in the shape of teepees and others as objects such as this bull dozer. It is said that they used to light these on fire set atop of the mighty Mississippi to guide all those traveling down the river to guide them into Granmercy for midnight mass. Audrey in the final moments of the video says, "Theres something wrong in Care-alot!" "Care-alot is burning!" For those who don't know Care-alot is where the Care Bears live. Every time we watch the final moments we chuckle. To view the video just click on the play button on video below the post. For those of you who have not heard we will be moving out west yet again. Josh has got orders to Point Reyes which is in Marin Co. about 45 minutes north of San Francico. We should be leaving around the end of May and will be stopping off in Utah for a short stint. Wish us luck.
